Tidal Raves Is A Local Favorite In Depoe Bay

by Nikki C

There are not many restaurants in Depoe Bay with views that compare to Tidal Raves. Established in 1990, the upscale restaurant overlooks the wide open ocean and tree-topped Arch Rock. Locals and tourists alike love Tidal Raves for their impressive menu full of seafood dishes, sandwiches, and desserts.

Start off with an appetizer such as the Thai Shrimp Cakes, Pacific Oysters, or Steamer Clams. House-made salads, including seafood salads and vegetarian options, are offered as well. Their smoked salmon chowder and clam chowder, as well as a vegetarian black bean soup and spinach oyster bisque, are available by the cup or bowl.

For lunch, try one of their artisan sandwiches such as a tuna melt, pulled pork, crispy chicken, or Rockfish Po’ Boy, all served with fries. Those looking for something light may prefer their simple fare such as their Dungeness crab mac and cheese, fish and chips, or beer-battered shrimp.

Their main entrees feature fresh catches from the sea including herb crusted Pacific rockfish, fresh sea scallops, and fresh steelhead. A small kids menu is available with more simple options for the little ones.

They also have a delectable dessert menu to top it all off. With options like key lime pie, tiramisu, and bread pudding with bourbon sauce, it’s worth saving room for (or getting a slice of cheesecake to-go!)
