If you take the Three Capes Scenic Byway off Highway 101, be sure to stop by the Grateful Bread Bakery & Restaurant in Pacific City. This local restaurant, themed after the band The Grateful Dead, serves amazing breakfast and lunch options as well as freshly baked breads and pastries.

Start off your morning with one of their fresh breakfast options. They serve a variety of scrambles, omelettes, and pancakes in huge portions, as well as a breakfast wrap, Gallo pinto, and bakery granola. They also make savory and fruit-filled scones that pair perfectly with a cup of coffee.
The bakery offers a full lunch menu as well, including locally caught fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads, along with daily specials. A popular favorite is the fresh cod sandwich, with a breaded and grilled filet of cod on one of their fresh bakery buns.
There is a little something for everyone including vegetarian and vegan options and a menu for the kids. Before you leave, grab one of their giant cookies for the road, or one of their tie-dye t-shirts for a fun souvenir.
