Some of the best restaurants in Yachats can be found right along Highway 101. This includes the family-owned and operated LeRoy’s Blue Whale, which has been serving amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner since establishing in 1980.
LeRoy’s Blue Whale is a homey family-style restaurant with a little something for everyone. Start your morning right with one of their omelettes, pancake stacks, or homemade cinnamon rolls. Or, try their own “Hangtown Fry Omelette” with oysters sourced locally from Yaquina Bay.
For lunch, the restaurant offers soups and salads along with house specialties, such as their iconic fish and chips, as well as specialty sandwiches and burgers. On the dinner menu, choose from fresh seafood entrees, mouthwatering steaks, or country dinners such as deep-fried chicken and pork chops. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available for every meal.
Whether you get dessert to-go, or top off your meal in-house, you won’t want to miss some of their delectable options. The restaurant is known for their homemade pies, but also offers ice cream sundaes.
