Don’t Miss Roseanna’s Cafe In Oceanside

by Nikki C

If you take the Three Capes Scenic Route, a short and scenic byway that branches off Highway 101, you’ll pass through the tiny town of Oceanside just south of Cape Meares. This small community is filled with vacation rentals and bed & breakfasts, as well as a couple of cafes including Roseanna’s Cafe just a short walk from the beach.

Roseanna’s Cafe serves fresh, locally caught seafood, as well as burgers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and rotating specials. They also offer appetizers including soups, salads, and shrimp cocktails. Try an order of their griddle fried oysters, a cup of their famous clam chowder, or the Parmesan-crusted Alaskan halibut with a dijon citrus sauce. Top off your meal with one of their homemade desserts, such as the marionberry cobbler, chocolate caramel crunch cake, Tollhouse pie, or chocolate peanut butter pie.

Before you leave, swing by their gift shop and check out all the products and souvenirs for sale. Local art throughout the cafe is also available for purchase.
