Just north of Coos Bay in the small community of Lakeside, Osprey Point RV Resort makes a great vacation spot on the southern Oregon Coast. The resort sits on the shores of Tenmile Lake, right between the coastal mountains, dunes, and Pacific Ocean, with all types of water recreation from fishing and boating to swimming and sailing.
Osprey Point RV Resort has paved RV sites that are big-rig friendly as well as fully furnished cabins available to rent through Airbnb. Their spacious pull-through and back-in sites have beautiful views along with full hookups, a picnic table, fire ring, free WiFi, and phone service at each site.
In addition to camping accommodations, the resort also has private boat ramps and docks with shore power and security lighting. Fishermen can cast a line for trout, bass, perch, bluegill and crappie, and the occasional steelhead while staying at the resort.
For those not frying up fish for dinner, Osprey Point also has an on-site pizza and pub. Their extensive menu includes burgers and sandwiches as well as baskets and several specialty pizzas with vegetarian and gluten-free options available. In the morning, swing by their coffeehouse to get your caffeine fix.
The resort hosts several events throughout the year including bass and fishing tournaments. They are just a short drive from the many local businesses in Lakeside which includes a grocery store, fine dining, a hardware store, and a beauty and barber shop.
