Just off Highway 101 on the south side of the Chetco River Bridge, Zola’s On The Water serves some of the best pizza in Brookings. This local favorite makes a variety of wood-fired pies as well as BBQ wings, salads, and pasta. To pair with their pies, they also offer a wide selection of over 100 rotating local beers on tap.
Zola’s has recently upgraded their place to include a full bar to serve a variety of mixed drinks as well. Dine in for the fun atmosphere or call in for takeout or delivery. They offer free delivery from Whaleshead Beach Resort to the California border, whether you’re in a home, campsite, or even on a boat.
Their pizzas are made with homemade dough, handtossed, then fire cooked on their hearth stone. Both meat-lovers and vegetarian topping combinations are available on 12 and 14-inch pies.
If you feel like changing it up, try one of their oven-baked pasta dishes, such as the Extreme Mac & Cheese with penne pasta, four cheeses, and a garlic butter crust. Or maybe you would prefer their take on a classic, Chicken Alfredo, with homemade sauce, chicken, red onions, roasted garlic, and mushrooms.
Zola’s has recently moved to a new location in Brookings, next to the boat ramp in the Port of Brookings-Harbor, just a short walk from their old place. The new address is 16374 Lower Harbor Rd, Brookings, OR 97415. They are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
