You don’t need to search far for a great cup of coffee in Depoe Bay. Pirate Coffee Company, located right off Highway 101, serves freshly roasted coffee to-go, as well as delectable pastries and gourmet coffee blends that you can brew at home.
The family-owned business stays true to their name with coffee blends aptly named “Black Pearls Espresso”, “Walk The Plank”, and “Shiver Me Timbers”, along with many options from around the world. Artisan coffees are available from Africa, Indonesia, the Americas and beyond. They sell their coffees in both 12 oz bags as well as smaller 2 oz bags if you want to try out the many various flavors. Of course, they have fantastic options for decaf as well.
Their motto “Sail Away From The Ordinary” goes in hand with their specialty beverages such as Blackbeard’s Ghost, made with chocolate, ice, milk, and espresso. Their Breve lattes and mochas are a local favorite, as are the flavored Americanos. No matter what drink you choose, you’ll want to pick up a scone or muffin to pair with it!
