A few blocks off Highway 101, Forest Hills Golf Course is a hidden gem among local golfers in Reedsport. This 9-hole course is open year-round to the public with beautiful scenery, affordable rates, and fun events every season.
The course is popular with golfers of all skill levels. It is very well maintained and features two par-3 holes, five par-4 holes, and two par-5 holes. Each hole has four sets of tee boxes and is rated for several tee combinations. The course also has a clubhouse, driving range, and practice green where you can perfect your swing.
Wildlife can occasionally be spotted on the course; keep an eye out for deer, egrets, and herons. The course is very walkable, however, they also have powered and push carts available to rent. During the spring, the course blooms with gorgeous rhododendrons, irises, and other flowering trees and shrubs.
Forest Hills is operated as a non-profit, member-owned course that welcomes public play. Memberships are also available for those interested in unlimited play.
