There are hundreds of restaurants along the Oregon Coast where you can find fresh seafood caught in our local waters. One such place is Spinner’s in Gold Beach, located right off Highway 101 on the south side of the Rogue River. This upscale restaurant serves fresh seafood and steak, as well as salads, burgers, and daily specials.
Get started with one of their appetizers, such as the Coconut Prawns or Mediterranean Scampi. Then round out the meal with one of their seafood specialties, served with a side of chowder/soup or salad, rice or potato, and vegetables. Other entrees include steaks, lamb chops, slow-roasted prime ribs, Filet Mignon, and Australian Cold Water Lobster Tail.
Pair your food with a glass of wine or beer from their extensive drink menu. A variety of craft brews and imported and domestic beers are offered, including several Arch Rock brews on tap for growlers. Red and white wines from California and Oregon make up their wine list, as well as a special dessert wine from Washington and a Sauvignon Blanc from the award-winning Brancott Estate Winery in New Zealand.
Spinner’s also offers an incredible selection of desserts to top off the whole meal. Among their decadent options are a triple chocolate 3-layer cake, Oreo cookie crumble sundae, and Oregon berry sundae with fresh seasonal berries. If those don’t satisfy your sweet tooth, you may also be tempted by the double chocolate peanut butter pie, caramel apple pie, New York cheesecake, premium ice creams, Tiramisu, or their specialty: the Chef’s Mirage, a freshly baked pastry, stuffed with Belgian dark chocolate mousse, set on a pool of raspberry sauce and drizzled with dark chocolate sauce.
